Make-New-Doc

This command provides an easy way to create a new Google Docs document, spreadsheet, presentation, or upload.

Install:

To use, first make sure you have Ubiquity installed on Firefox 3. Ubiquity is a wonderful command line add-on which allows you to tell the browser not simply where you would like to go, but what you would like to do. If you are new to it, remember to go through the tutorial to understand how it works.

When Ubiquity is installed, refresh this page. Your browser will ask if you would like to install the make-new-doc command. You'll get a scary looking warning; click on "Install".

Use:

1. Open up the Ubiquity prompt
2. Start typing "make-new-doc".
3. Once the correct command is shown, type "document", spreadsheet", "presentation", or "upload". You don't need to type the full word, Ubiquity should understand by the first letter.
4. Hit ENTER and you're done!
